Deadline ended: New Vacancy – Social Enterprise & Business Development Consultant

The Mango Tree UK and The Mango Tree Kenya have an opportunity for a short-term consultancy project for an experienced external consultant who has an excellent track record and proven experience of decolonising local organisations, supporting partnership transitions, and facilitating participatory needs assessment processes.

Scope

After 20 years of supporting grassroots development projects and over £10 million of investment in local Africa-led initiatives, organisations and education institutions, we have decided to gradually hand over greater responsibility to our African partners. As part of The Sustainable Communities Project, we will assist our partners in building greater independence and empower them to set their own development agendas.

Consultant Job Purpose

To support TMT Kenya and their stakeholders to carry out a co-produced, objective, and critical review of their organisation that will bring to light the main strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats pertaining to their transition to independence, and identify priorities for capacity building investment and action.
