Kick Start for Young People – Supporting young people in the UK to access work experience opportunities in the charity sector.
In May 2021 The Mango Tree joined the UK government’s Kickstart Scheme, which aims to provide funding to create new jobs for 16 to 24 year olds on Universal Credit who are at risk of long term unemployment. In September 2022, we will be offering six month work placements at the UK office in Stroud for local, Gloucestershire-based young people who are keen to learn some skills in the not-for-profit sector or develop a career in community or overseas development.
